Charting a New Course: My Recent Endeavors in Business and Personal Development

As someone who has spent over 15 years immersed in the private club industry, I’ve cultivated a deep appreciation for hospitality, leadership, and the art of creating exceptional experiences. However, as the industry has evolved, so too have my ambitions. Recently, I’ve been focused on building something new, leveraging my expertise to empower others in the field while also exploring new professional horizons.

Forming TJGallant LLC: A New Venture in Hospitality Education and Consulting

I’m currently in the process of forming TJGallant LLC, an exciting step toward delivering value-driven services to private clubs and hospitality professionals. The venture will focus on two core offerings:

  1. Education Services – Partnering with Armstrong Consulting, I’ll be leading a comprehensive 8-month course aimed at helping mid-level managers achieve their Certified Hospitality Professional designation. Combining asynchronous learning with live sessions, this program will offer targeted training designed to prepare leaders for the unique challenges of private club management.

  2. Consulting Services – I’ll also provide consulting solutions tailored to clubs, helping them attract and retain top talent while offering on-ground education for food and beverage staff. With the industry’s increasing corporatization, my goal is to support clubs in fostering personalized, high-touch experiences that stand out.

This venture, while ambitious, is built on a solid foundation of industry knowledge and hands-on experience. To launch the business effectively, I’m seeking a modest cash infusion from an angel investor to cover initial costs, such as technology, professional dues, and marketing essentials. I’m confident that with the right support, this venture will become a valuable resource for clubs and managers alike.

Pursuing New Opportunities

Alongside launching TJGallant LLC, I’ve been actively seeking opportunities outside the private club industry. Transitioning into a new field is both challenging and invigorating, and I remain open to roles that allow me to leverage my organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to create efficient processes. Whether it’s assisting a high-profile individual, managing an office environment, or contributing to a dynamic team, I’m eager to bring my experience and dedication to new professional landscapes.

Staying Active and Balanced

Amid these professional pursuits, I’ve been mindful of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Staying active through various workouts—whether it’s cycling, yoga, or strength training—has been a cornerstone of my routine. Physical activity helps me stay grounded, energized, and ready to tackle the demands of entrepreneurship and job searching.

Final Thoughts

The past few months have been a period of reflection, transition, and growth. While leaving the private club industry was a difficult decision, it has opened doors to new possibilities. My current focus is on building something meaningful, not only for myself but also for the hospitality industry I care deeply about.

I’m excited about what’s ahead and remain committed to crafting a professional path that aligns with my values and strengths. Whether through TJGallant LLC or a new role in an entirely different sector, I’m ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities that come my way.
